Very well built. Heavier than I imagine it would be for something on the compact side of things. The tape itself is very sturdy. I love that it has the actual 8th markings on the tape. I would recommend this.

It's a great simple compact tape measure for general use. I get short tape measures or reel type tapes for longer than 25' because every spring loaded tape over 25 ft is basically a guaranteed malfunctioning tape measure once you pull it out to the last 5-10 feet

I was very impressed when I pulled a measure of about a foot in length out. It has almost all the measurements wrote out on it. Thankfully that will take some of my measuring frustrations away. The lock holds too!
