Perfect size for 1 mug. Never received one w/broken carafe... been using one for over 7 yrs. I have broken carafe if I'm too aggressive shaking out old grinds.

We don't own an automatic coffee maker at home. I actually prefer the taste of french press coffee better. We even take our french press camping (glamping)!

I was given one as a gift a decade ago. I use it often. The press stem hole in the lid is a little loose, but otherwise no signs of wear. Excellent product.

Love This French Press!! worth the money, easy cleanup just be careful and make sure you sit it on a flat level surface if it tips over the glass will break easily. Otherwise great product!!
