Great material. Excellent cheek weld. Battery compartment still to be tested but rubber stoppers are solid. Solid build. In fact the only thing I'd have to complain is that it was kind of a pain in the butt to install, but then again, I am not planning on removing it.

Love the Magpul STR stock. I've put one on all of my adjustable stock rifles. It gives me a very secure and repeatable cheek weld with it's larger area for doing just that. Very important for consistent shooting. Easy to install - very well built.
