The grow kits are supposed to have a solid block of white inside. Both of mine were brown liquid and were leaking from the boxes when I receive them. This means that the kits were so old that they were starting to disintegrate and would never grow mushrooms.

I don't know why their staff would send this kits out when it is over 2-3 months old have black liquid on it . I send request to return but it is upset me more is wasted my time and have to wait for order other mushroom kits

mine showed up with a brown liquid in it and I could not get any mushrooms to grow

It doesn't work. It's not worth the money at all. I only got 2 mushrooms out of these 2 boxes that I purchased. With the money that I wasted, I could have gotten 5-6 lbs of mushrooms from the store.
