This is an interesting take on how religions get started, masquerading as a wild, funny story of sex and crime in the Western Pacific. Or vice versa. Looking back, this seems like a practice run for Moore's later, and better, "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal."
