I bought these Xmas tree cover storage bags and they serve the purpose. My trees are snow flocked and it is better to just store them standing instead of in a tree bag or box. It saves the flocking from falling off.

The plastic is thick enough that it won't puncture. Perfect purchase without having to spend $50 on a fabric cover. It is plenty tall enough, but barely wide enough for our tree. Check measurements.
