I am techie, these Sylvania smart plus color bluetooth bulbs do not play well with Alexa. Countless hours of frustration and only sporadic results, connecting. Ultimately, no... they do NOT work with Alexa. Misleading label on the box. Do not buy if you use Alexa.

I had to return these bulbs. The apps don't work, you can't sync the bulbs. It was a ridiculous process that I didn't want to embark on. Got the C by GE instead. Much easier and they work perfectly
