I'm not crazy about gel pens because they tend to smear. These do NOT smear. I tried to smear the ink as soon as I wrote and not the least little smear. They're now my go to pen.

I love to draw in my free time. I have a very particular need in my drawing utensils. And this one is currently my favorite! If you enjoy drawing, and/or coloring/ shading with a smooth, heavy, and smooth edge for drawing and coloring in… i think you'll be pleased!

I like these for drawing. They are usually very smooth and the gel flows perfectly. I have gone through twenty of these with no problems until the recent batch where the gel seemed to accumulate and release in a small smudge. I really like these pens, just make sure you're paying attention.

The Sharpie S-Gel pen is comfortable to write with. My only issue is that you have to have the pen at a certain angle in order for it to write. This could be how I am used to write with other pens, but it is a little issue for me. The ink comes out easily and is a good dark black.
