I stopped by Walmart and bought one, went to the beach, put a bait out. Within 5 minutes I got a bite and the rivets holding the tube to the stake snapped. I almost lost a $300 surf outfit.

Cheap Chinese garbage! The rivets holding the plastic tube on, break off if you even look at it wrong. Useless! Buy a piece of PVC instead.

If you are a bank fisherman like me. You know the challenge of finding a decent Y stick. This is a must have on your next fishing trip. It has a sharp metal tip rod. It easily penetrates sand and dirt. Even though i can get it through gravel covered banks. Not recommend. Its durable. But not that...
