My son is devestated. He wanted this truck so badly so we got it for him to cheer his spirits after his Neurosurgey yesterday. As soon as he began to check it out the hood (the launcher) broke off. It lasted maybe a 1 minute. Horribly made product which is shocking from Mattel. Save your money.

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He loved it until it broke within 10 minutes after opening the box. He dropped it from a sitting position onto a rug and broke the launcher cab clean off. Now all it's good for is hauling. This is an expensive/cheap piece of plastic.

I had the same problem as previous reviewer. We searched and searched for another to replace it, but couldn't find one. VERY disappointed in this birthday surprise. My son currently plays with it, but has never gotten to experience the “launch” part because it never worked.
