Good sturdy pencil case. These cases r great for elementary kids, for crayons and markers and glue sticks just because of how deep they are. This pencil box has other advantages other than our kids using it to hold pencils. I use liquid fabric softener and the sheets sometimes; so to keep my opened box from losing it's freshness, I put them in these boxes and it works really well. Word to the wise from a 72 yr old granny!
