Very light weight. I thought it seemed kind of cheap because of that, but I opened it up and it seems like it will be ok for an emergency.

It took a bit to get it opened but when I did it's perfect. It'll fit in the trunk of my car and that's what I was after. Since there won't be any snow for the next 6 months or so I don't know how effective it will be but I want in in the trunk of my car for when snow is blocking me in.
