I talked my father out of buying a hard, wooden plank-style swing in favor of this one. He was afraid that it would constrict the kids too much because of wrapping around them. I told him that all the playgrounds use this style swing, and that the wrapping just holds the kids more securely.

Sturdy product. I like the fact it is reversible. Chains are long also. I used the swing-n-slide product on the swing on the right. This swing is much longer. Do yourself a favor and buy the easy 123 brackets if you are building a wooden one.
