Ya it lights up and it pretty. It states u can press anywhere to snooze. Ya if u push dow. On it hard enough. There are 2 tiny buttons on the bottom u have to smash down hard to get it to snooze. Basically I just find my self picking up the clock and pressing the button on the bottom myself insteaf.

I bought this clock for my daughter because I thought she would like the added lighting feature. It just stopped working, and the unit felt hot to the touch, so I think something must have burned out in it. I would not buy this brand of clock again.
