Abu Garcia Pro Max Spinning Fishing Reel

I bought this reel to pair with one of my favorite smaller 6 foot spinning rods. What I put together is a all around fantastic combo. I placed Stren 6# line on reel, and have yet to lose a fish. The drag is great, and the reel is smooth as silk.....GREAT JOB ABU GARCIA!!!!!!

I bought one as a trout reel, and sat on it for two years without trying it. This year, I tried it at the start of the year, and it has become my only trout, crappie, and panfish reel. The drag is smooth and it cast well even with light splitshot and a fly with Trilene XL 4lb.

The Pro Max spinning reel is the smoothest spinning reel I have in my arsenal the action is great coupled with the Berkley Cherry Wood rod (med/heavy) can't go wrong with this combo in my opinion. My friend also has is using the Pro Max 30
