Received my grill recently. The box was mostly destroyed. The grill was fine except a dent in the ash tray. Unfortunately it is already rusted. The grill itself is great. Well built and holds the heat really well.

My husband had only tried it once and had never smoked anything better so he still learning but so far he loves it. He made 3 while chickens and one he didn't completely cook but the other were really good. With practice he'll get it.

Did some research on this and other smokers. Friends own 4 of these and after seeing what the Akorn can do, I was amazed and impressed with this as well as the value. Very happy with this!
