Motion detection range more like 30-degree rather than 240-degree. Will detect an automobile passing on the street but won't detect a person walking well within range except within a very narrow range.

Bought it, it did not turn on unless you were 10 feet away no matter what setting. Brinks was kind enough to replace it VERY quickly and it was great, for about 1 month. Now it only works in Test mode and only stays on for 2 seconds. Highly disappointed since it costs about $30 for the unit THEN ...

No matter what settings or lamp/sensor aiming adjustments are made the unit turns on for 3 seconds then turns off. Same if you use the Manual ON or Test mode. Waiting to talk with Brinks (really Hampton), but they are out Thanksgiving Thursday through Sunday.
