This is a great idea but garbbage set up. The cap for the batteries does not stay and i have to Mcgeiver the parts in order to use them. I do not recomend this product unless your into fabrication. Novice bike riders stay away.

First off, it only came with one unit instead of two. Secondly, if your bike has special patterns in the spokes, this is not going to work to well for you. After finally getting the item to fit toward the inner spokes, I had a hard time getting the batteries in the unit as the inner unit was lean...

Although it has been impossible for me to see my spoke light while out on my bicycle in this cold, I find it fascinating that the spoke light can be seen by passers-by and I am thrilled to have a light pattern device on my bicycle.
