This is a beautiful lamp shade but on this lamp it makes it top heavy and the lamp leans toward shade. The engineering is not very good so I would not buy this lamp if you are putting it on carpet

The lamp arrive with cracked glass in the shade and the silver warning labels were stuck on the outside of the top of the lamp so that I had to peel them off and when I did they took the paint off with them. Beautiful lamps but very poor packaging and labeling.
