We were having a issue with a hawk that loved to dump on our tan PVC fence. The owl has been place for about a week and no poop on fence. I did observe earlier today a bird not sure if it was the hawk or not because it happened so quickly but it landed on fence and almost immediately took off.

These owls look good and once you put sand in them they are heavy and don’t blow over even in strong wind. Unfortunately they did not scare the cardinals that were banging their beaks on our windows. One of them literally stood on the owls head to bang on the window.

Seems to be working. I had a problem with birds coming on the deck and eating the cats food (I know, crazy birds) I put the owl on the deck railing and Ive moved it daily. t's only been a few days but they sit in the tree and haven't come near the deck.

Got this because there were 2 hawks circling my back yard when I would take my puppy out to play. First day I put this owl out, on the deck, hawk swooped low and saw it, never came back. Head swerves in the wind, and you should rotate the owl daily, put it in different places, to fool birds, etc.
