had it for almost a year, and has 80 lb braid on it. it works like a charm bass fishing in the thick cover. I use it for all kinds witless finess, frog, and weighted hook set ups. I am looking forward to buying another one. The best price for a baitcast reel.

For the money this is a good baitcast reel. I bought this just to see if all the hype about it was true. Braking system is good, casting is great, it take a bit to tune and have found keeping interior brakes at 2 pins works best you can adjust outer braking depending on the lure your throwing.

Today was my first day using the new reel and it was great! I caught a 6lb bass and snatched it out the water like it was nothing. It casts amazingly and reels in great! I'm planning on buying more of kastking in the future.
