I've been using this rod for a couple months now, mostly for permit. I use it to sight fish throwing live crabs. The rod has a great feel and the components are good quality. Light in hand and easy to cast, this is a nice rod well worth the money.

Has a great back bone with good sensitivity. Able to feel the bite while jig fishing and the back bone to set the hook

Great rod. Light, sensitive but enough backbone to bring in the flounder, trout, and red fish I target while inshore fishing from the kayak. Bought the 8-15 lbs medium light 7'6”, paired with a Penn Fierce III.
