This stone seemed much thicker. It reccomends heating it up to 500 degrees for 30 minutes before which I did and do before using. I thougth the square shape would not be as easey to use as the round ones I had bought before, but it worked out just fine. It will stain but seems to be working fine...

I have not used it yet and it is slightly smaller than my other one but the 1 in. loss should because no problem since I can still bake a 16" pizza on it

I bought this to use in my grill for pizza and baking bread. It's nicely made and thick, so it seems like it will last a long time. I love it! I've used smaller, thinner pizza stones with varying success, but this is MUCH better. It will probably be moved into the oven this winter.

The stone arrived in a cracked condition and I had to return it to the store for a refund.
