The kids each have their own so they can have their own building station. They received Lego sets to make specific things. A Minecraft setting, Pokemon, etc. they work so well keeping the project steady and the pieces separate from the others. Highly recommend

i got these for a class that in teaching with preschool to 1st grade. i needed a surface they could use to build creations and this works great! they are slightly flexible and not "solid", but they work great for peeling those thin pieces off! works great for me.
