Works great. No instructions but easy to set up. It's pretty self explanatory. Wire attachments are for demo use, all you have to do is unplug them, and pop in the batteries. Placed it around my Christmas tree. Kids love it! Not bad for 34 bucks. In store this item is a little over 50 bucks.
