Material is soft. Not heavy, good layering piece. If you like a loose fit, size up because this hugs the body. Launders well. Only had for a week so can't say how well this sweater will hold up in the long run. Good value for the low price.

Today first time I put it on. it was OK at home. Then when I was in Lincoln Center I saw all ,y belly is opened. My Goodness!!!!!!!!!!! It goes up, it is short, It is awful! Probably it is good for one who is short and M sized. I am 300 pounds, size 4X. I do not recommend it!

I received this in black and was wowed by the quality - much better than the picture shows. Soft & much more expensive feel & look! Really good value for the price. I'm back for more colors. (Please offer more colors next year, Walmart!)
