I agree with nearly all of what fireblossom said. Although I'm not nearly as disappointed with the ending, I do believe it could have been executed with more fervor.

Good book, but it switches from the 1900's to the present in every other chapter, so you kind of have to go back at each chapter to remember what happened in the previous chapter. Otherwise, it was a good story and well written.
