My boy really loves this item. It has some nice fitting punching gloves that comes with it. They are a little small for my 9 year old hands, but its an ok fit for my 4 year old son. I think the idea ages for this is 2 to 5. Also once the base is filled with water it is pretty stable for punching....

This is perfect for young children, it is adjustable sturdy after filling with sand, I found it to be soft and made very nice wit the logo on it just like big guys. I have 4 great grand children all girls and they love it even the little one because it is adjustable so she can take her turn also....
