This seems to be a fairly well made vent. It fit perfectly and seems like a solid made vent. Time will only tell how it holds up with your average family traffic walking over it. the floor register is great for along the walls, i wouldn't recommend it for in the middle of floor because it is raised up some. also watch pets because it is very light and cats can pick it up out of hole.

Our heating system has vents in the floor. Two of them were looking really bad. I replaced them with the plastic. Problem solved. They are sturdy, and we have two others, which have worn very well. The white looks clean and neat. Thanks for a great product.
