I love this set. This set has more colorful dots than other Art sets. Instead of building per given instruction, I used this set to build a self portrait of myself with additional pick a bricks dots. The result came out amazing. If you want to build a self-portrait, this is a great set to get.

My daughter (8) put the first one to use and made a Harry Potter themed collage. I just bought a second one for her birthday party so that her friends can each design a tile for her. She is so excited for this activity! Just read that this Lego set is being retired. Don't retire it, please!

I bought this for our family and had one of the 9 tiles for each person. We all sat around the table and built for an hour or two at a slow pace while chatting. Adults helped younger kids. We combined all 9 at the end and got to see what each person chose, great idea. The kids were so excited...
