      500 pages in and I can't do it. Nothing has happened. The first book had female and male characters with agency and a solid goal. The sequel is a muddled mess. Are the orcs the evil to be defeated or the alf or the dwarf killers? I get the feeling the intrigue of this book is an attempt to imitat...
