I received the reel a couple of weeks ago. I've spooled it up and got a chance to fish with it. It has performed well so far. Smooth retrieve & drag, Casts well and easily adjustable braking.

I HAVE SEVERAL XT'S AND BY FAR THE BEST BAIT CAST REELS I'VE EVER FISHED WITH. I LOAD THEM WITH BERKLEY FIRELINE CRYSTAL AND A 6 FOOT LEADER OF INVISIBLUE FLOURO. THE LINE WEIGHS DEPEND ON THE LURE I WILL BE TYING ON.
