Very lightweight and that is the reason I bought them. I have arthritis and heavy plates hurt my fingers. These plates are light but strong at the same time. Very easy to clean and the design is very nice and elegant. It makes the food have a great presentation.

Purchased these to replace heavier stoneware. These can hold there own in durability and are very stylish. I am replacing all my old dishes with these lighter weight. Love the square look. Plus they are easy on the budget.
