I do not understand people who have issues with these lids. They work beautifully. I have had these for years with no issues. Good, durable, inexpensive item. As for buying the glass containers with the flapping lids - read the reviews. Those lids have a high complaint ratio for breaking off...

These bowls are great. They stack in fridge, go from there to microwave. The bowls don't flip over in the dishwasher. These and theirr brothers are all we use. No looking for odd lids.

Just perfect, great size. (and not that dang red lids that seems to be on a lot of Pyrex lately. :) When I am breaking down my soups and crock-pot meals, this size works out great, cools down quicker so I can get in to frig; instead of one big container. Fits better in frig, and are stack-able. ...
