Ran two kettles for a fundraiser cookout recently. Used a full chimney of Max and the traditional briquettes in that white and blue bag. The traditional tiny briquettes ran out after 2.5 hours and the Max were still going 5 hours later! Enough said!

These briquettes are huge. They light up easily, put off no foul fumes or smoke, and cook hot and consistent. If you've written off briquettes in favor of lump, give this one a try.

Best briquettes %26 lump charcoal I've ever used. Great that it is all natural too, no extra chemicals/fillers/additives in the Max briquettes. Use them in my Weber Smokey Mountain all the time. Burns clean, hot and long with less ash than cheaper brands. Get what you pay for.

I have tried all different brands of briquettes and I have to say that jealous devil Max is my favorite. Burns the cleanest, last the longest and priced right!
