These are nice looking curtains. they are not blackout curtains, they let in quite a bit of light. So, they are great for a living or dining room. I wouldn't recommend them for a room that you want light control or privacy.

I wasn't sure if first if I needed to have only one or two curtain rods. You only need one. These are just a little sheer but not enough where someone could see in if you're running around naked in your kitchen. I don't have them pulled back so it definitely gets dark, which that's fine. Yo...
