These strips are solid; I have used them before, but I always reinforce them by using more than one of them per picture. My picture frames are very light; so I do not know how well this will hold with heavier weight.

The Velcro wall strips are my absolute favorite way to secure picture frames onto a wall. These offer so much more flexibility and options when placing pictures! I definitely recommend!
