I bought this mainly for the vac feature. The unit was replacing a 20+ year old Craftsman.i was not disappointed. Strong blower with a lot less noise then my old one. So far so good. Has sufficient power. The leaf blower attachment (separate purchase) for blowing leaves out of the gutter is a bit flimsy but works well if you extend your hand down the pipe.
