The new decision is night and day better than the old design. The two pieces allow the pillow to sit better on the cushion. This also allows the pillow to be higher on your back, making for a better posture. The cushion on the new design is also more comfortable than the old. Great improvement.

So far so good! Was really pleased with these! They are larger and nicer than I thought and I'm very happy. The only downside is if you don't have an electric drill it can take a while. Much easier with 2 people.

Both set of cushions are nice. However, I prefer the solid color ones that are slightly stiffer. Although I like the look of the pattern better. old cushion is soft but does not offer much support where as the newer cushion is much more supportive and is more ideal for longer sitting periods. This chair is very comfortable and lots of room to relax and read or hangout on. The colors are very neutral which is great it means it will match with most other types of furniture. I like being able to rest my arms and legs wherever with plenty of space to enjoy sitting in it.
