I can't believe Abu Garcia put their name in this rod. It snapped on a 2 lb bass the first time I took it out! Looking at the other reviews, this is a super common problem with these. Avoid at all cost!

I bought this literally 3 days ago finally got out to the water yesterday and my rod broke instantly on a 2lb bass the tip just snapped immediately abu garcia usually is a great brand I've been looking at this rod for a few months saving up and I would just like to say DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE !

I literally used this rod and reel combo for a couple hours before the tip broke off while reeling in a small creek trout. I expect a lot more from the Abu Garcia name. Highly disappointed in this rod and reel combo. Complete Garbage!!! Don't waste your money.
