I got this for scooping garden soil materials because the old cups I was using weren't very good for the task. This scoop is surprisingly sturdy! I don't expect it to break unless I leave it out in the elements by itself.

I found this scoop very nice and helpful when used for planting flowers - dig nice, square hole, not too big , just enough to put plant in the soil , no need for big showel and easy to handle regardless of type of soil

This is a nice sized, heavy duty scoop. It has a comfortable grip. We have used it for gardening — for scooping soil amendments like bonemeal, potash, bloodmeal, etc. and mixing it into our garden soil. It could also be used for scooping pet food or chicken feed. It seems to be good quality.
