      Bottom shelf is on studs the top shelf is on drywall. I purchased these after I was unable to use the plastic anchors that were provided with the shelf.       Awesome product. I can hand my towels in peace without worrying about my drywall opening up wider and creating a big hole. I added a washer to it to cover the size of the whole and it worked perfectly.
