Get the 1x7. Not your ordinary dept store bike. 500$ quality for half the price. This is a great bike to upgrade components on. Intermediate level and if you start replacing wheels tires handle bars and pedals it gets expert level. I’m 6’2.

This is a great value introductory mountain bike. Pre-assembly was well done making it easy to put together and Schwinn quality is reliable. I purchased this for my son who is going off to college and has gotten into riding the trails. This will last him quite a few years.

My wife bought it for me 2 yrs ago, I have put an easy 500 miles on it and have had to do no more than a seasonal tuneup. I have had Giant, Mongoose, Specialized and GT bikes and for the money this stands toe to toe with those models $500-$800 bikes. Definitely a great recommend.
