Has all features an expensive rod has. Great gear ratio and super smooth, just wish it was a 7'ft but other than that I can't complain it's the best bait-cast reel combo on Walmart!

Got this for my first baitcaster and I have no complaints. I was a little worried on account of it being $40, but it has surpassed expectations. It casts great, the rod is strong, and the tension and brakes are easy to set. It handles fish easily and for $40 you can't turn it down.

This reel and rod combo is great! I've pulled in some monsters with this set up! It casts out smoothly and reels in smoothly! Drag works great. Feels sturdy. Well built. I am very happy with this purchase that I decided to buy 2 more for my son and dad. You will not be disappointed!

This rod and rail combo is a five star purchase. Definitely worth the money. However, if you order it to be shipped to you expect the packaging need to be a super overkill.
