Not sure what I can say, other than parts tend to wear out after 15+ years of use. It's great to be able to maintain my Genesis 2000 grill with original parts.

We've had our Weber grill for well over 20 years and the drip pan holder finally rusted out on one side. So we ordered a new one and we delighted to see that the new pan is stainless steel. I'll bet it will last at least another 20 years.

Raccoons stole the old pan and have been making do with the aluminum liners. The frame was showing significant rust and whilst restoring the 1996 Spirit 700, figured this could be done as well since the raccoons tore off one of the rails.. (had to replace them too)

Replaced these cooking grates, the flavorizer bars, the burner tubes, and the drip pan and holder bracket. These items fit the old grill and were easy to install. This grill is 25 years old and works like new.
