Best rod for $20 that I've found. I've used both the medium and medium heavy rods. I've caught numerous bass with them and no issues whatsoever. Occasionally I've had to resign ten the nut on the real seat but I have to do that with all my lower end rods after catching a ton of fish

This rod outcasts an Allstar and Falcon IM6 that I have. The "golf grip" style handle is very comfortable. Shakespeare always makes equipment that is inexpensive, not cheap.
