Package was sturdy and contained everything without damage. The lathe is powerful enough to cut chromoly. I have tested mild steel, chromoly, and aluminum so far.

Nice little lathe for the money it took a lot cleaning smoothing and shimming to get everything moving smoothly it is a fun little tool took a star off because there are no locking screws on any axis of the machines only gib adjustments and the machine shuts itself off when you switch into revers...
