I am happy with this device. it was very simple to install. plug everything in, then all you have to do is call the cable provider and give them the Mac ID of your modem device. this will provision the router for their service. A quick phone call and I was set and ready to go. I was irritated wit...

Great modem. As other reviewer. I bought this to future proof for faster net down the line. Currently have 1gb speeds. This little modem doesn't miss a step. Besides the lack of a mounting hole. Which can be circumvented if you 3D print. I find no flaws.

Comcast no longer liked my SB8200 with my 800 Meg plan. Upgraded to to S33 with a 10G copper gbic in my UDM Pro. Modem is capable of up to 2.5Gig. Along with a 2.5Gig USB NIC dongle, I'm able to get up to 1.2Gigs down on my laptop now. I was surprised that the S33 is a bit smaller than the SB8200.
