These work. I use them on the patio during the AZ monsoon season. They can be dried and used again (about 3 times). They absorb water and prevent potential water leakage into home (for my specific area). I highly recommend. Neighbors saw mine and are using them, now.

I like that it expands as soon as water touches it. The ground in my backyard is slightly higher than my garage and if there's a downpour, water enters the garage.

Ordered when it started raining , came way faster then expected super awesome delivery timing but now I have to Waite for the rain again this is my second time buying this and I would pick this over sand bags they retained the water while giving better curb appeal then sandbag
