Fit and works like original. It's hard to get a radiator hose wrong, but I've seen it before. This item installed without issue and holding coolant.

The Dayco formed hose fit great without any alterations. Dayco hoses seem to be thicker than other brands. I have used Dayco belts and hoses for many years.

Installed on my step-sons daily driver, remove the black metal radiator top cover piece (10mm) and the hose is directly under. Carefully remove old so not to crack or damage plastic radator tank/neck and reinstall. Super easy and took 2 minutes. Quality Exact Fit Part.

Upper radiator hose blew out 4/10/2014 on I76 one quarter mile from SR94 exit. Patched with duct tape; able to get turned around and back to exit. Located Advanced Auto Parts within walking distance. Purchased hose, radiator fluid, and screw driver for repair. Was simple enough for this old timer...

I had to replace the radiator on my 98 GS Eclipse so went ahead and done all my hoses as well. This hose will have to be trimmed about 2" if you are purchasing for the same car. Seems to be a decent hose, I just hope it holds up. Time will tell.
